Who we are

Since 2012, The Friends of the Lowline have led the effort to create a green space that highlights the surrounding neighborhoods, addresses city-wide flooding, and gives pedestrians and bicyclists a safe, dedicated path. Now, with the City of Charleston’s support, the Lowline is becoming a reality.

To build, promote and program the Lowline as a great public space for all.
